Sustainable Travel International (STI) is a
global leader in sustainable tourism development. The 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization's mission is to promote sustainable development
and responsible travel by providing programs that enable consumers,
businesses and travel-related organizations to contribute to the
environmental, socio-cultural and economic values of the places they
visit, and the planet at large.
STI is dedicated to
providing education and outreach services that will lessen the toll
that travel and tourism takes on the environment and local cultures. By
providing tangible, solutions-oriented programs, STI is taking a
holistic approach to addressing sustainable development within the
travel and tourism industry.
EcoClub
ECOCLUB ® , International Ecotourism Club™,
is an award-winning network for Ecological Tourism
with Members, individuals and organisations, in over 80 countries. It
was founded on July 1, 1999 and is based in Athens, Greece (European
Union). We promote ecological forms of and ecological change in
Tourism. We support the philosophy and practice of Ecotourism
(Ecological Tourism) worldwide, we participate in tourism policy
& decision-making processes, conferences, and the worldwide green
movement. On a day to day basis, we act as an alternative, low-cost
ecotourism consultancy, promoting environmentally-friendly holiday
options & related services, supporting ecotourism practitioners,
academics and students, offering resources such as specialist news
coverage, networking and career opportunities, information about
upcoming events, new publications, consultancy and funding
opportunities and much more
