| The Basecamp Foundation has developed several teaching and capacity-building centres to promote creative thinking and future-oriented actions in sustainable tourism. Our aim is to provide places for sharing of experiences through seminars, workshops, training and volunteer activities. The centres provide spacious, comfortable and practical facilities for focused, open, and enlightening discussions. All of them closely linked to our camp operations giving a unique opportunity of hands on practises.
Having won several international awards themselves, Basecamp seeks to promote sustainable tourism practices through such centres in Kenya, on Spitsbergen in the high Arctic, and in the Pyrenean Mountains of Europe and in Dharamsala, India.
